Banga Beats, the franchise team for Bangalore in the Indian Badminton League, into the sport, has brought huge enthusiasm and expectation for the sport in the times to come. Led by chief coach and former India star, U Vimal Kumar Banga Beats will be aiming for a podium finish on August 31, 2013.
Bangalore will be hosting two high-powered ties between Awadhe Warriors and Mumbai Masters on August 24, followed by a high-voltage clash between Krrish Delhi Smashers and the hosts themselves on August 25. The city will also be the proud host of the second semifinals of the inaugural IBL, scheduled on August 29.
